Wendi Deng is reportedly dating Vladimir Putin
Rupert Murdoch's ex-wife Wendi Deng is reportedly in a "serious" relationship with the 63-year-old Russian autocrat. Who rebounded best? Wens and Puts? Or Rupes and Jerry?

Wendi Deng is reportedly in a "serious" relationship with the 63-year-old Russian autocrat, according to Us Weekly.
Please let this be true and not an April Fool’s joke.

Says the mag: "The rumour circulating around the corridors of power - from Washington, D.C., to Europe and Asia - is that Vladimir Putin and Wendi Deng, Rupert Murdoch’s ex-wife, are dating. Reports of the pair have been floating around for years, ever since their respective divorces in 2014 and 2013. One insider close to the powerful leader tells Us Weekly the relationship is ‘serious’.”

Deng, 47, whose 14-year marriage to Rupert Murdoch collapsed amid rumours that she was having an affair with ex-British Prime Minister Tony Blair, is apparently dating the Russian strongman.
Murdoch remarried earlier this month to former model Jerry Hall, whose large, blended families were all in the bridal party.

Deng is the mother of two young daughters, Grace and Chloe - Murdoch's youngest spawn.
Putin split from his wife Lyudmila Putina in 2014 after 30 years of marriage, with whom he has two children, Yekaterina and Mariya.

What proof?
Us Weekly quotes an unnamed source close to Putin offers as evidence that the divorcee was seen “boarding her pal Roman Abramovich’s yacht in St. Bart’s” on Monday. Abramovich is also friends with Putin, so surely they must be dating.
As Salon so breathlessly reported upon hearing the news: “This is literally everything you could ever want in a gossip item - international intrigue, complex power games, revenge against Rupert Murdoch, insiders close to world leaders - so, for the sake of argument, let’s assume that it’s the real deal, even though it very, very easily could be fake. (But it’s definitely real.)”
